Intermunicipal Alliance

Due to the success obtained by the synergy of different federal, state and private institutions, we are in the process of creating a Decentralized Public Organization “intermunicipal committee for the integral negotiation of the Natural Resources of the Coastal Littoral of Yucatan” that will be formed by the 12 coastal municipalities that will work with the Annual Operational Plan, and will sum wills to continue with the proper solid waste disposal project, as well as to begin with the water pollution prevention.

Women cooperatives for solid waste disposal

Once the awareness processes are over, we make an effort to convert to action all the tackled subjects; that is why since 2004 we started working on the support, grant of equipment and community group organizations that work in the proper solid waste disposal. Today we work with different levels in 4 communities and we follow them through their consolidation.

Forest fires brigade

Since 2002, when we started working on the forest fires prevention, we have grown along with the communities on knowledge, training and capabilities. Today we work closely with the three levels of government; we have achieved the training and establishment of 8 communal brigades that work coordinately on the east region. Now we are on the consolidation stage of these capabilities.

Naturalistic teachers Training

Since 2008, we started the project to prepare and/or fortify the knowledge and the educational skills of people from the communities where we develop our bird workshops for children, with the purpose to make them our “teachers or linking persons” and be who give continuity to the children’s activities with N&C support, the first workshop will be hold during 2008 second semester .
